The Race for the Fallen 5K GLOW RUN is a night time family-fun race for participants of all ages & speeds!

The Police Benevolent Foundation’s Race for the Fallen (R4TF) race series was created to honor the hardworking and dedicated members of our law enforcement community who risk their lives to protect our cities. These officers are men and women who have taken an oath to “protect and serve” the local citizens and their communities. The R4TF 5K GLOW RUN event recognizes the contributions and sacrifices made by not only the officers, but also their families.

Race Day: The Race for the Fallen will begin at 8:00 PM (or after sunset) on Saturday, May 2nd. The starting point will be the Polk County Courthouse. Follow the signs posted on race day. Check-in and late registration will begin at 6:00 PM.

You can register at packet pick-up & on race day (starting at 6PM at the Polk County Courthouse). However, no discount codes will be honored.

***Online registration closes at 3PM on Wednesday, April 29th.

Parking will be available at the United States Postal Office and throughout the race vicinity.

Timing System: Runners will be timed manually by Solid Rock Race Timing.

Race Swag: Each runner will receive a neon dri-fit race shirt, glow gear, LED glowing finisher medal & more!  Participants can pick-up race swag prior to the race or on race day. 

Awards: In both male and female categories: Top 3 Overall; Top 3 Master Overall; First three finishers by age groups (both genders): 0-5, 6-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69. 70-98, and 99+. Awards also given to the first three law enforcement officers to finish – both male and female.
